EcoReps

EcoReps are student staff committed to making life in residence halls more sustainable. They work with members of the Pitt community to integrate sustainability into the culture of our residence halls by reducing energy and water use, increasing recycling and composting, and advancing other sustainability initiatives.

Hi, I’m Afifa and I’m excited to be serving as an EcoRep for the 2022-2023 school year! I’m a sophomore majoring in computational biology and in my free time I enjoy reading, traveling, and baking.

Hi, my name is Mina! I am a junior environmental studies major at Pitt, originally from the Pittsburgh area. I am excited to be returning for my second year as a member of the EcoReps team, and I am looking forward to having the opportunity to encourage sustainability in our residence halls and across campus. In my free time, I love thrifting, cooking, and going rock climbing!

Hello, my name is Viktoria and I’m excited to be an EcoRep this year! I am a rising sophomore and in my free time, I enjoy being with friends and family, watching movies, practicing my Spanish, and brushing up on my French.  I hope to travel and experience different cultures, and one day live abroad.
